For Los Angeles-based musician Bianca, known professionally as Ladie Beezus, that’s the question at the center of her newest release.

Through honest lyricism and emotionally driven storytelling, Bianca explores the experience of toxic relationships, self-worth, and the realization that freedom sometimes requires reclaiming the parts of yourself you’ve given away to others.

The upcoming music video, created in collaboration with filmmaker Patrick Deonon, visualizes that struggle through imagery that reflects a familiar feeling for many women, the experience of constantly being asked to give more of yourself while searching for the freedom to simply exist on your own terms.

But long before this release, Bianca was already using music to say the things many people think but never speak aloud.

As a first-generation Filipino American artist, identity and personal experience have always shaped her creative perspective. Her ability to transform emotion into something relatable has become one of the defining characteristics of her work.

One of her earliest songs, Swagapino, was written in a single day and went on to win a local rap competition, marking an early moment that showed the power of trusting her voice and sharing her perspective unapologetically.

Whether she’s exploring relationships, identity, heartbreak, or self-discovery, Bianca creates songs that feel less like performances and more like conversations. She has a gift for saying the quiet things out loud, the thoughts people carry with them but rarely put into words.

And with more singles already on the horizon, she’s only beginning to tell her story.
