Her journey with photography began in middle school, but what started as a creative outlet eventually evolved into a way of understanding both herself and the people around her.

One of her most memorable projects began during a trip to Omaha. What started as simply meeting people with similar creative interests quickly evolved into a collaborative photoshoot. By bringing together models, stylists, makeup artists, and fellow creatives, Tess focused on understanding what each person needed for their portfolio and finding a way to create something meaningful together.

That collaborative spirit continues to shape her practice today.
